SECOND CIRCULAR OF THE NUSTAR WEEK 2012
Kolkata, India, October 8 – 12, 2012

Dear Colleagues,

This circular is to remind you that the registration for the NUSTAR Week 2012 is open and the participants should register before October 1, 2012. Important: Foreign participants are requested to get registered before August 31, 2012 so that all necessary formalities can be arranged in time.

This year our workshop is organized by the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata. The aim of the NUSTAR Week is to provide the possibility for collaboration and working group meetings of all NUSTAR projects and in particular to discuss technical results and perspectives together. There will be a Technical Board meeting, a Resource Board meeting, as well as a Collaboration Committee meeting during the week. In addition, it is planned to have a NUSTAR-India business meeting.

The workshop starts officially on Monday afternoon at 15:00 with the onsite registration and a welcome reception. Meetings of project collaborations and working groups will take place from Monday to Wednesday. In case you have not done already, please tell us your plans for such meetings – there are still a few time slots and rooms available for your most welcome get-togethers. The plenary sessions of general relevance are reserved for the last two days of the workshop. This year's special topic on Thursday will be the “NUSTAR-India day” to present development and physics of Indian groups relevant for NUSTAR.
