Dear Colleagues,
The 6th International Conference on Physics and Atrophysics of Quark Gluon Plasma (ICPAQGP-2010) will be held in Goa, India during 6-10 December 2010. The Conference will include a Student Day on Sunday, 5th December 2010.
We have updated the ICPAQGP2010 webpage with detailed information for the Registration and Accommodation. Please visit the Conference website to complete your registration formalities and to book your accommodation. Please note that the Conference period is a festival season in Goa. Early booking of accommodation is desirable.

Registration and Conference Fees
The conference registration and details of the Conference fee can be accessed from the Conference website.
Scientific Program
The scientific program of the Conference will consist of plenary and parallel talks as well as posters.
Contributions for the paralllel talks and posters are invited by September 24, 2010. Decisions on the acceptance will be intimated shortly after.

Student Day
The Organizing Committee has decided to hold a Student Day on 5th December 2010. It will consist of invited review talks by renowned researchers in the field. Interested research scholars and young researchers may please write to the Convener mentioning in the subject line as "Student Day". There is no additional registration fee for the student day.
Financial Support for Young Participants
Limited support is available for students and young researchers. Those interested in financial support are encouraged to write to the Convener at icpaqgp2010@vecc.gov.in mentioning "Financial Support" in the Subject line.
Hotel Accommodations
Organizers of ICPAQGP2010 have negotiated with a few selected hotels near the venue of the conference for special rates for the participants of the conference. For further information on accommodation, feel free to write to the Convener, at icpaqgp2010@vecc.gov.in mentioning Hotel Accommodation in the subject line.
Travel to Goa
Dabolim Airport , Goa is about 27km from the Conference venue. It is well connected to all major cities of India. Goa receives some special flights direct from International points. The best way to reach Goa is through Mumbai international airport. From Mumbai one can access a number of flights to Goa. The approx flying time from Mumbai to Goa is 1hr. Goa is also well connected by Rail and Road.
Visa information
Most of the foreign nationals require a valid visa to enter India. We recommend that you apply for visa at your nearest Indian Embassy / Indian Consulate. You may need invitation letter for processing the visa. Please let us know if you like to get a letter.
